KOPIA (Korea Photovoltaic Industry Association) is a non-profit organization authorized by the Ministry of Knowledge and the Economy.
KOPIA is a national PV association dedicated to the photovoltaic industry and represents all facets of the PV value chain in Korea. It was established in 2009 in order to promote the Korean PV industry. Our objectives are to 1) establish the best legal framework to boost the Korean PV industry 2) stimulate interest in PV technologies and applications, and 3) raise the public awareness of PV by providing the best information and knowledge possible.
There are over fifty company members ranging from those who produce polysilicon, cell, and module products to those who are system integrators.
Some of the large companies include Hyundai Energy Solutions, Shinsung E&G, LG Electronics and Hanwha Solutions.
All company members play a crucial role in the Korean PV industry.
