Founded in 2012 in Austin, TX by a musician with a culinary curiosity and an artist with a passion for plants, Yellowbird began as one homegrown farmer’s market hot sauce that grew into an array of flavor–forward spicy condiments focused on building a wildly delicious, healthy, and better–for–the–world flavor offering.
Before Yellowbird, hot sauce was merely watered–down, mildly spicy vinegar. We transformed an entire category and in doing so, raised the bar for hot sauces and condiments alike.
Our key differentiator is our wild determination to work directly with organic farms and farmers focused on growing food the right way. Each of our spunky flavors has a unique profile that can only be derived from the use of farm–fresh ingredients paired with our specific batching and bottling process.
