EGW Guitars (originally founded as Endorian Guitarworks by Matt Ackerman) began its existence as a last-ditch effort to maintain a shred of sanity after weeks turned to months turned to years of working from home in the new post-2020 world. The first days were full of simple electronics swaps, setups, and a desire to do more – with a steep learning curve. After less than year, EGW had earned a reputation for excellence that developed a large and loyal customer base.

One thing led to another and by mid-2024 the mission was clear and refined: to evolve the business solely to manufacturing of hand-built, superior quality electric guitars that cut through the noise to showcase the uniqueness of the player as much as the instrument itself. All while fostering a commitment to the individual, and a sense of community built around the most inspiring musical force in our lives – the guitar.
