Splendid by Porvenir LLC is a Nogales, AZ – based fresh produce company with facilities in Northern Sinaloa, Mexico. Splendid also outsources mangoes from Brazil, Ecuador and Peru and from southern states of Mexico as well. The company grows as well as distributes many fresh products. With 12 mos. of overlapping crops making it a year-round fresh produce distributor, the list of items Splendid offers includes a full line of mangoes, green beans, sweet corn, bell peppers, cucumbers, several varieties of winter squash, limes, lemons, and constantly strives to embrace new items that show promise with its customer base. The company has expanded its sales to not only include the U.S. market, but Canada and Europe as well. It plans to display winter vegetable items, but also plans to highlight new mango packaging and products such as Jaguar Honeys, Bali Mango 4 Packs, and Keitt Kong mangoes, which the company hopes to build on for upcoming seasons. Along with retail and wholesale accounts from other parts of the country, the team hopes to connect and spend time especially with the California trade as the company has outstanding relationships with many California retail chains and wholesalers. In addition to making new connections, Splendid also hopes to position itself to build programs for the upcoming year with several of the items they handle.
