Georgalos is a historic Argentine food company with over 80 years of experience in the confectionery and food industry. Founded in 1939 by Greek immigrant Miguel Georgalos, the family-owned business began by producing sweets and expanded into a wide range of products, including chocolates, candies, nougats, cereal bars, and breakfast cereals. Georgalos is best known as the original creator of the iconic peanut nougat dessert Mantecol, inspired by Mediterranean halva and beloved across Argentina and many other countries. Over the decades, the company has grown and innovated, maintaining strict quality controls and continuously developing new products and technologies. Georgalos also integrates peanut processing into its operations and exports to several countries.
