Sorghum Checkoff
Listing Description
The Sorghum Checkoff is a producer-funded organization dedicated to improving the U.S. sorghum industry through research, promotion and education. In the United States and other countries across the globe, sorghum is the 5th most cultivated cereal grain that is primarily used for aquaculture, livestock and poultry feed or ethanol production but is becoming popular in the pet food industry and other emerging markets. Sorghum’s versatility gives it the flexibility to reach beyond traditional marketplaces, further enhancing producer and end-user profitability as a feed and pet food ingredient or as a renewable feedstock.
