PorVent®

PorVent®, the manufacturing division of Technology International (India) specializes in venting solutions for various industries. Venting is a vital function for safe and efficient operation of EV battery packs as well as various automotive electronics. These vents are microporous membrane based and can be integrated easily into an enclosure with our range of Screw-in Vents, Snap fit Vents and Adhesive Discs. PorVent® Pressure Release Vents are dual stage and perform the function of constant pressure equalization, ingress protection (IP66/67/68/69K) and reducing condensation in Stage 1. During a thermal runaway event, the sPTFE membrane in our vents is engineered to burst and create a barrier free opening to allow rapid expulsion of gasses and fumes and prevent critical pressure build up. At PorVent®, we have the capability to handle and process multiple membrane materials (sPTFE, ePTFE and PET Track-etched membranes) and design vents based on industry and customer needs.
