Kludge Audio manufactures useful special-purpose devices that fit into 500-series racks, tools varying from germanium preamps to exotic limiters. Since introducing our first product, the Model 506 Equalizer, in 2014, we have made a variety of devices intended for very specific processing applications. Our Model 510 Transwarmer is a transformer device that provides a subtle sense of blending to smooth over a mix, without being obvious about it and with an effect that remains uniform with varying levels. Our Model 511 Germanium Preamplifier is a very soft-sounding preamp that aggressively limits peaks without being harsh. And our Model 509 Rotating Limiter is a high-speed broadcast-style limiter with an added phase rotator to make peaks more symmetric. In addition, we also sell a small line of chemical products for analogue tape equipment.
