Beijing Challenge Group

Challenge Group is the 1st company in China and the 3rd company in the world to independently develop and produce phytase. Since its establishment, the Group has continuously focused on innovation in animal nutrition and has built a comprehensive portfolio of feed enzymes, probiotics, and bio-functional additives. Over the years, Challenge Group has successfully launched products including Protease, NSP enzymes, Pecozyme, Bacillus subtilis, UC Series probiotics, and Glucose Oxidase. Each new product has become a widely adopted solution in the feed industry and has helped countless customers create greater value by improving feed efficiency and animal performance.

Challenge Group operates three main business segments developed simultaneously, covering the full animal production value chain. The upstream business focuses on bio-functional additives and premixes, the midstream business centers on bio-starter cultures and bio-fermentation functional feeds, and the downstream business is dedicated to the production of safe, high-quality, top-notch livestock products. The Group is committed to developing these three segments in parallel, enabling efficient translation of technology from research to industrial application and downstream value creation.

Challenge Group holds more than 100 patents and 30 licenses and has conducted more than 30 national and industry-level research projects in the fields of enzymes, probiotics, and premixes. In addition, the Group publishes more than 20 scientific articles annually in both domestic and international journals, reflecting its long-standing commitment to scientific research, technological advancement, and sustainable innovation.
