CRIME NO CRIME™ was born from a simple but urgent truth: most people do not know the law, yet every day they make decisions that can alter the entire trajectory of their lives. For decades, our family has worked inside the criminal justice system, as prosecutors, a criminal district court judge, a public defender, and criminal defense and corporate attorneys. Across those years, we witnessed the same heartbreaking pattern repeat itself: lives destroyed, futures derailed, and families torn apart not because someone intended to ruin their life, but because they never understood the legal consequences of their actions.
That reality is what inspired us to create CRIME NO CRIME™, a groundbreaking legal board game designed to empower people, especially our youth, with the knowledge they need to protect their future. The game does not prevent every injustice, but it gives individuals something far too many people lack: the ability to make informed choices.
CRIME NO CRIME™ transforms real-world legal principles into an engaging, accessible experience. The game includes 250 scenarios drawn from actual cases, covering misdemeanors, felonies, police searches, seizures, interrogations, and everyday situations where a single decision can carry serious legal consequences. Players must determine whether a crime has been committed and, if so, identify the most serious charge for the conduct.
The design is intentional. Every scenario teaches two things at once: what the law is, and how quickly a seemingly small choice can escalate into a life-changing event. Most people know when they’ve done something wrong, but very few understand the magnitude of their actions until it is too late. CRIME NO CRIME™ bridges that gap by making the law understandable, relatable, and memorable. When people know better, they do better. Beyond the game itself, we offer the CRIME NO CRIME™ Criminal Law Symposium, a transformative educational experience for schools, churches, and community organizations. These symposiums are eye opening and often life changing. Attendees learn how the legal system works, what rights they have, and how a single decision can mean the difference between freedom and incarceration, prosperity and hardship, or even life and death. The symposiums bring the law to life in a way that resonates across generations.
