Doctor-NET is the leading provider of teleradiology services in Japan, holding the top market share in the domestic industry.
While there are approximately 30,000 medical imaging devices such as CT and MRI scanners across Japan, the number of board-certified radiologists is only around 6,000. As a result, only about 30% of cases receive timely and appropriate diagnostic interpretation. Additionally, disparities in access to radiology specialists across regions have made teleradiology an essential part of Japan’s medical infrastructure.
Doctor-NET operates the largest diagnostic center in Japan, handling over 10,000 cases per day (3.2 million cases annually). Maintaining the stable operation of this system directly contributes to delivering accurate and timely medical care to patients nationwide.

In addition, we offer AI-RAD, a medical imaging AI platform service deployed across Japan. AI-RAD supports the integration of foreign-developed AI engines, and Doctor-NET provides end-to-end support—from obtaining regulatory approval in Japan to full-scale commercialization. We welcome partnerships with AI engine developers seeking to enter the Japanese market.
We have already successfully launched products in collaboration with more than three overseas AI vendors, and we expect this number to grow steadily. By combining AI technology with teleradiology, we aim to deliver even higher-quality healthcare solutions.
