In the area of water and wastewater services, EA has provided over $125 million in services to our highly diverse client base on more than 1,000 water/wastewater-related projects ranging from small one-time wastewater monitoring tasks to extensive, multi-year, multi-faced capital improvement projects that cover the full life cycle of planning, modeling, design, permitting, and construction in collection/distribution, pumping, storage, or treatment systems. Our wastewater capabilities include the EnviTreat laboratory which specializes in conducting testing to determine the biological (aerobic/anaerobic) and physical/chemical treatability of industrial and municipal wastewater. Testing services and mathematical modeling are also used to evaluate the health of biological systems, improve performance, ensure regulatory permit compliance, and troubleshoot systems that are experiencing suboptimal performance or failure.
Testing services include analytics, lab scale, and pilot scale testing. Results are used by plant owners, operators, and engineers for feasibility, design, and operations/troubleshooting. EnviTreat can also estimate Greenhouse Gas savings and CA-GREET calculation to determine Low Carbon Fuel Standard credits based on optimized methane production.
