In 1962, founders Don and Virginia Wynne created Folding Guard® to manufacture the best steel wire product solutions for safety, security and storage needs. After a forty-year legacy of providing quality steel folding gates, the founders’ son, Dean Wynne, established Illinois Engineered Products (IEP) to focus exclusively on designing and manufacturing heavy-duty steel folding gates. IEP manufactures the strongest security gates on the market, all made in America with US steel.
