In the late 90’s Patrick Bowers operated a small laundry and became frustrated with the unreliability with the used equipment providers in the market. Patrick felt there was a need for an honest, consistent, and dependable used equipment dealer and took the opportunity to fill this void. In 1998, JP Equipment, Inc. was created and has become a prominent player in the commercial/industrial laundry equipment industry with a global network of customers.
Over the past three plus decades JP, with the addition of partners Kate Bowers (2009) and Lee Harris (2010), our territory and available services have grown. Currently, we offer installation and decommissioning, CAD-assisted plant designs and retrofits, productivity consultations, insurance and banking appraisals, and thorough reconditioning of laundry equipment. We have experience building numerous laundries from the ground up, assisting with plant expansions, and have carved out a niche in tunnel reconditioning, tunnel auditing, and training on tunnel systems.
In 2015, the partners at JP were looking to expand our capabilities and a significant milestone was reached when we launched our sister company JPE. JPE embarked on a journey to provide the finest mat rolling machines and dry piece folders available in the market.
