Galileo Digital distributes advanced motion picture film scanners from Lasergraphics and film and tape cleaning systems from Cinetech UK. Our customers include leading film archives, studios, broadcasters, universities, and government institutions worldwide.

Since 1981, Lasergraphics has continuously invested in R&D for the archive industry, producing some of the highest-resolution film scanners available and uniquely supporting all formats from 8mm to 70mm IMAX at speeds up to 60 fps. Current models include the 13K Director with 3-flash HDR and infrared dust detection, the 6.5K ScanStation with high-speed performance, and the affordable 5K Archivist. All systems deliver simultaneous outputs including DPX, ProRes, H.264, JPEG2000, and WAV to streamline preservation and production workflows.

Cinetech’s revolutionary BSF Hydra Film Cleaner uses non-hazardous Isopar-G, a film cleaning solvent rated “EXCELLENT” by Kodak. Cinetech cleaners feature touchscreen-controlled intelligent software that continuously monitors reel size, motor speed, and torque to ensure safe, consistent winding. Galileo Digital will be taking orders at NAB for Cinetech’s new Open Reel magnetic tape cleaner, designed to clean 2″ video, 1″ video, 1/2″ open reel, and 1/4″ audio tape formats.
