The company´s product range includes halogen-free flame retardant fillers and eco-friendly additives for the various industries. Flame retardant fillers are commonly used in the Adhesives, Composites, Coatings, Electronic Devices, Rubber and Wire & Cable markets to name a few; while additives have applications in e.g. Catalysis, Dyes & Pigments and Electric Vehicles. Nabaltec also produces specialty oxides for use in technical ceramics, the refractory and polishing industries.
Nabaltec USA, the North American business unit of Nabaltec AG, has manufacturing operations in Corpus Christi, Texas (Nashtec LLC) and Chattanooga, Tennessee (Naprotec LLC).
Naprotec is a large capacity manufacturing plant dedicated to the production of a wide range of Aluminum Hydroxide (ATH) based flame retardants. Naprotec products include standard ground particle distributions, silane surface modified grades and enhanced or viscosity-optimized ATH products.
