QUBS makes smart toys from wood – innovating with RFID tech to create screen-free imaginative play. Founded in 2019, our journey began with a simple idea: to empower and inspire a new generation of innovators. We launched during the global pandemic, successfully gathering support for our vision with a Kickstarter campaign. Since then we’ve won many awards celebrating our unique play systems and grown rapidly; finding new investors, building a passionate team of experts, bringing Cody to households and schools worldwide and developing incredible new technology like Qubitunes that changes the way kids play.

We innovate and design beautiful wooden toys with screen-free tech inside, to balance hands-on play, exploration and intuitive learning. This helps kids develop critical skills in a way that’s fun, simple and engaging. We nurture creativity, problem-solving, and confidence, providing a guided framework for kids to discover the joy of play. The QUBS line-up includes Qubitunes, winner of the Toy Award in the Startup category at Spielwarenmesse 2025 and selected as a Top Holiday Toy by Toy Insider. Qubitunes is screen-free audio gaming that turns every moment into music, sounds and stories. Pop in a game cartridge and move the wooden blocks to mix up endless combinations – lead a noisy orchestra, meet animals, craft a story or jump into fun challenges. The sounds shift with every move, so playtime is always something new and imagination runs wild. Unlike other audio toys or speakers, Qubitunes offers thousands of combinations and fun games for endless play. With games across six categories and our smart tech, Qubitunes can truly grow with kids.

Introducing RasKars, a lively cityscape where animal-driven wooden cars zoom, explore and react all on their own! Powered by hidden smart tech and seamless RFID interactions, each car drives autonomously and responds to whatever kids build around it. Launching with three personality-packed vehicles – and expanding each year – RasKars creates a bustling animal world full of motion and surprises, where imagination comes alive. Kids become the city planners, using our clever RFID system to guide the action.

Cody Block is more than a fun toy. It teaches kids the foundational concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Each block becomes a lesson in coding and logical thinking. Kids learn problem solving, social skills and collaboration, spatial awareness, storytelling and critical thinking.
