“The idea for platinum silicone moulds came to me in 1998 while working in my family’s business. To pursue my dream, which kept growing, I felt the need to throw myself heart and soul into this new adventure.” 

This is how Dario Martellato recounts the all-Italian story of his company, founded in 2002 and based between the provinces of Padua and Venice.

Dario’s winning intuition lies in his firm belief in the potential of platinum silicone in the kitchen, wishing to offer the market a product that stands out for its premium quality synonymous with Made in Italy and its distinctive, sophisticated design.

The quality of LSR silicone

We make components in LSR platinic silicone, which is absolutely the purest and able to guarantee full compliance with the various certifications of suitability also for contact with food. Some leading characteristics of this material are its resistance to chemicals, to oxidation (oxygen and ozone, also when hot) and aging, its excellent electrical insulation, and its excellent non-stick properties. However, its leading feature is its extreme resistance to temperatures. Indeed, the characteristics of this rubber do not change up to 200-230 °C and it maintains its elasticity down to -150 °C. It contains no toxic components, has the lowest content of volatile substances, and is commonly used in a wide variety of industries, such as the sensitive pharmaceutical/medical sector.
