TRSA, established in 1912, is the leading organization representing the linen, uniform, and facility services industry. Its mission is to expand, protect, and promote the industry by fostering a stronger, safer, and more environmentally conscious community. TRSA achieves this through advocacy, education, certification, research, benchmarking, and information-sharing.

The association actively engages in government relations to represent industry interests and conducts outreach to customers and consumers. It upholds rigorous standards in hygiene, environmental sustainability, and workplace safety through its certification programs. TRSA also supports professional development by offering in-person, virtual, and on-demand learning opportunities.

TRSA helps the industry prepare for the future by addressing evolving challenges and bringing members together to share ideas, build connections, and drive progress.

Its membership includes over 200 Operator Member companies—local, regional, national, and global—that supply, launder, and maintain linens, uniforms, and other reusable textiles and other facility services. Together they account for more than 90% of all commercially laundered linens and uniforms in North America. Additionally, more than 160 Supplier Partner Members provide essential products and services to these operators.
